EDUCATION AND CHILD RIGHTS PROGRAMS

What we Do

We work to promote ‘child focused community development'  and facilitate integrated and sustainable education among child rag pickers, tribal children, and HIV / AIDS infected and affected children. Monitoring and strengthening formal education, non-formal bridge course centers, advocacy for Child Rights especially rights to development and participation through Child Parliaments are integral part of our programs.

Since 1998 Karunya Trust reached out to 9818 children through various educational programs.

This thrust of Karunya Trust focuses on United Nations Millennium Development Goals : "Achieve Universal Primary Education, Reduce Child Mortality, Improve Maternal Health, Ensure Environmental Sustainability, Develop a Global Partnership for Development."
