Run With Purpose

The Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) is one of the world’s top ten marathons and India’s largest sporting and philanthropic event. Since its inception in 2003, it has brought together thousands of runners, corporates, NGOs, and individual donors to create meaningful social impact through the spirit of running and giving. The event is organized by Procam International, in association with the Government of Maharashtra, with United Way Mumbai serving as the Philanthropy Partner.

Karunya Trust has been a proud participating NGO since 2012, leveraging the Tata Mumbai Marathon platform to mobilize resources for the holistic development of vulnerable children, women, and marginalized communities across Maharashtra. Funds raised through the marathon support our initiatives in education, healthcare, livelihood promotion, child development, community well-being, and sustainable rural development.

The Tata Mumbai Marathon is held on the 3rd Sunday of January every year, providing another opportunity for individuals and organizations to make a lasting difference while promoting health, teamwork, and social responsibility.

Three ways to make your run count for something bigger

100% of the funds raised through the online fundraising process and donations received through runners’ fundraising campaigns are received by Karunya Trust without any deduction or retention amount. Every contribution directly supports Karunya Trust’s programmes and initiatives, creating meaningful impact among children, women, and marginalized communities.
