Why We Intervene
Over the years, individuals and families from across Maharashtra have approached Karunya Trust seeking help to continue their children's education. Many were outside the communities covered by our larger programmes, but their need was genuine- children lacked the financial resources and basic educational essentials required to continue studying. Gyandeep was created to respond to these individual educational needs and ensure that financial hardship does not become the reason a child is unable to pursue education.
