Why We Intervene
We encounter individuals and families who struggle to secure even a proper meal because of unemployment, financial hardship or difficult family circumstances. Many approach Karunya Trust with an immediate and basic need for food, even though they may not fall within the communities covered by our larger programmes. Poshan was created to respond to this fundamental need and provide support to people facing food insecurity with dignity and compassion.
