Why We Intervene
In many tribal hamlets, access to clean drinking water remains a daily struggle. We saw people, particularly women and children, walking long distances and spending hours simply to collect water for their families. Karunya Trust began Sujal because access to safe drinking water is a basic need and should not require communities to spend a significant part of their day simply finding it.
